Publication Frequency

Trends in Plant Biology follows a continuous publication model, whereby articles are published online immediately upon completion of the production process. Each article is made available in a fully citable format with a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

Periodically, Trends in Plant Biology publishes special issues focusing on specific research themes. These special issues may be overseen by appointed guest editors, and targeted calls for papers are typically announced 6 to 12 months in advance.
